Nadiah was born in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, the Southeast Asian nation made up of thousands of volcanic islands. She graduated from the Insearch Institute of Commerce in Sydney, Australia, majoring Tourism and Hospitality and had her first career as Secretary and Establishment Department at Tax Consultant Office in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In 2002, she moved to Washington, DC. Nadiah joined AALEAD at 2009 as Teacher’s Assistant and is currently the Elementary School Program Teacher at Bancroft ES. Outside work, she is involved at Indonesian Christian Community in DC, serving as piano player, Children Church’s teacher, Translator, Video Clip Production and Announcer.
Her fun fact was that she met the Komodo Dragon face to face in Komodo Island, Flores, Indonesia. Nadiah also enjoys traveling, cooking and baking, photo shopping and learning piano.
