AALEAD served 460 youth in FY15. This was a 40% increase from FY14.
AALEAD is expanding to 4 new middle schools and planning a Community College Program.
AALEAD opened its VA office and now has permanent office space in DC, MD, and VA

In 2004 AALEAD was selected by the Annie E. Casey Foundation as a FAMILIES COUNT, National Honors Program Honoree.
In 2004 AALEAD was awarded Points of Light Foundation – President’s Award.
In 2003 AALEAD was awarded Eureka San Francisco Bay Area Eureka Mentor Award.
