Kaeli Patchen is thrilled to be the DC Middle School and Peer Mentorship Program Coordinator! As an educator and administrator, Kaeli is passionate about teaching and learning from young people, whom she believes are some of the smartest and most interesting people around. Kaeli enjoys sharing her passion for social justice, performing, and all things creative with this incredible community of youth and staff.
In addition to her experience working with youth in school and camp settings, Kaeli also has experience working as a professional actor, singer, and teaching artist with such theaters as The Kennedy Center, Imagination Stage, The Smithsonian’s Discovery Theater and more.
Kaeli is originally from a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She holds a BA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Communications from American University.
