AALEAD’s 28th Annual Dinner video captures the heart of our mission and the incredible impact of our youth programs and community. Directed, filmed, and edited by AALEAD volunteer Cameron Nguyen and produced by Liv Roy, AALEAD’s Development Manager, the video highlights the stories, leadership, and resilience of the young people we serve. Drawing from her background in marketing, psychology, and multimedia storytelling, Cameron beautifully brings AALEAD’s work to life through powerful visuals and authentic storytelling that celebrate our youth and the vibrant communities they help shape.

“I was deeply moved to see the youth’s reactions to the Annual Dinner video at the end-of-year party at each school site. I found it really cool that some youth even recognized old classmates or friends from a different school in the video as if AALEAD somehow keeps them connected even if they haven’t run into each other yet at an AALEAD event. When the school site that was featured in the video got to finally see the video, the energy in the classroom was incredible. The speakers were a little shy when their parts came up, but ultimately they were proud to be featured and cheered on by their classmates. ”
