We are dedicated to empowering AAPI youth by providing educational empowerment, identity development, and leadership opportunities. Meet the supportive Board of Directors behind this mission at Asian American LEAD.

Board of Directors

Join the AALEAD Board!

AALEAD is now accepting applications for our Board of Directors!

For over twenty years, AALEAD has supported historically under-resourced Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) youth with educational empowerment, identity development, and leadership opportunities. Through mission-based leadership, strategic governance, fiduciary oversight, and hands-on assistance, AALEAD’s volunteer Board of Directors has been there each step of the way.

If you are committed to AAPI youth, call the Washington DC region home, and want to contribute your time and skills in support of both, please consider joining the AALEAD board. Applications are due August 18th!

We are particularly interested in folks that bring expertise in AAPI youth development, nonprofit management, communications, fundraising, technology, accounting, the law, and racial justice organizing and advocacy.

Check out the full board member position description, and submit your application.
