Jason Kazi is a Bangladeshi and Jewish American communications leader with a decade of experience shaping stories that bring people together. He currently works in public sector communications for a major global tech company, where he helps craft messaging that connects mission-driven work with real-world impact.

Having grown up across South Asia, Africa, and Central America, Jason brings a global lens to everything he does—whether it’s building community, mentoring youth, or championing diverse voices. He also manages DCWaleDesi, a Washington, D.C.–based South Asian community platform that spotlights culture, small businesses, and creative talent from across the region.

Known for his warmth, curiosity, and commitment to inclusion, Jason believes storytelling can be a powerful tool for belonging. He lives in the D.C. metro area, where he can often be found exploring new restaurants, planning community events, and finding ways to bring people a little closer together.
