DC Youth Facilitation Coordinator

Angel Liang (she/her) is the DC Team's Youth Facilitation Coordinator and former Summer Programs Intern! The proud daughter of two Chinese immigrants and a jiejie to one younger brother, she grew up in Midwestern Chinese schools and badminton lessons, which sparked her passion for cultivating resilient, tight-knit communities. From grassroots base-building to political education to direct services, Angel embraces all the nitty gritty of movement building.

Angel is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree at the George Washington University studying sociology and Asian American studies. In college, she served as the Family Program Lead and Advocacy Coordinator for GW’s Asian-American Student Association, where she organizes events focused on identity, diaspora, and advocacy.

When she is not in the classroom, Angel can be found practicing various multicultural dances, crafting at home, or trying on various styles of hanfu.
