Daniella Caluza

Mentoring & Volunteer Coordinator

Daniella (they/them) is one of the Mentoring & Volunteer Coordinators at AALEAD. As someone who benefitted greatly from community organizations such as AALEAD, they are committed to supporting youth through mentoring and facilitating opportunities for community members to support AALEAD’s work. 

Prior to AALEAD, Daniella was an Associate Manager at the Partnership for Public Service, where their portfolio was dedicated to strengthening diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives among the federal workforce. Prior to the Partnership, Daniella worked with Centro Legal de la Raza to advocate for tenants rights’ and rent relief for Oakland, CA residents during the peak of the  COVID-19 pandemic. 

Daniella holds a BA in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity with a concentration in Education and Inequality from Stanford University, where they were also heavily involved in both the Asian-American and First-Generation and/or Low-Income student communities. Their experiences and coursework in have directly contributed to their commitment to social justice and working towards a better future for all people.
