Dr. Fatima Baig (she/her) is an education and nonprofit leader committed to advancing equitable access to opportunity for youth and communities. She currently serves as Director of Programs at AALEAD, where she leads multi-site youth development initiatives focused on leadership, educational access, workforce readiness, and community engagement.

A former K–12 educator in Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia, Dr. Baig brings experience across public, private, and charter schools, with expertise in program strategy, organizational leadership, grant development, and community-centered education. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy from Drexel University, along with degrees in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Public Administration, and Spanish. She is also a certified yoga instructor, integrating mindfulness, movement, and healing-centered practices into her approach to leadership, education, and community well-being.

Dr. Baig is passionate about building systems that center youth voice, strengthen representation, and expand pathways to educational and professional opportunity—particularly for BIPOC and historically underserved communities. Her work reflects a whole-person approach to leadership that connects equity, wellness, and sustainable systems change.
