Liv Roy
Development Manager
Liv Roy (she/hers) has spent more than seven years working in nonprofit communications and development, advancing missions that center equity, access, and community impact. She began her career as an intern at Bridgewell, a nonprofit supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges. It was there that she discovered her commitment to community-based work and uplifting underrepresented voices.
A Chinese adoptee raised in Massachusetts, Liv has consistently sought to amplify stories that are often overlooked. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the College of the Holy Cross, with a minor in Studio Art and a concentration in Creative Writing. She previously served as a Co-Lead for the Catalyst Employee Resource Group at GBH, where she supported initiatives focused on representation and belonging. Most recently, she worked in development at Spark the Journey and was a member of the Leadership Team for its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
Liv is deeply committed to strengthening communities through strategic storytelling, relationship building, and equitable fundraising that expands opportunities for youth and families.
