Michelle Wee

MD Youth Facilitation Coordinator

Michelle (she/hers) serves as the Maryland youth facilitation coordinator at AALEAD, where she supports a range of youth programs and events in collaboration with the team.

A graduate of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, she earned her MBA with concentrations in Strategy, Marketing, and Management in Information Systems. While in school, she demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and community engagement—organizing Lunar New Year celebrations and contributing to DEI research through the BNY Corporate Social Responsibility Fellowship.

Michelle’s early career began in the entertainment industry in marketing and publicity roles, before expanding her skills in operations, customer service, and accounting/finance. This diverse experience, including international work experience both in Asia and the U.S., has provided her with a comprehensive business foundation, and led her to her current role as an Entrepreneur.

In addition to her professional roles, she holds a Certificate in Inclusive Leadership and has volunteered as a student tutor, as well as at IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program while in college. At AALEAD, she draws from this well-rounded background to create people-centered solutions and spaces where communities can thrive.
