Why did you join the AALEAD Youth Council Fellowship?

“I joined the AALEAD Youth Council to be a part of a community where I am able to develop my advocacy skills and learn from collaborating with like-minded peers. I hope to surround myself with an environment that inspires me to grow as a person.”

What impact or hope do you wish to inspire this year?

“I hope to understand the issues in my community that directly target underserved and underrepresented people, aspire to create meaningful change, and learn how youth can make an impact. I hope to bring in new perspectives and develop awareness to empower my community. ”
