End of Summer Showcase Art Gallery

This summer, our amazing youth from Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia gathered for our End of Summer Showcase. Combining creativity and culture with diverse topics of learning, AALEAD youth had the opportunity to display their artistic explorations of self-identity, new ideas, and community. They explored topics ranging from engineering by building bridges out of straws and popsicle sticks, to computer language by making binary code bracelets, and to culture and identity by crafting masks reflecting personal cultural elements.
