Joyce Segarra-Board Treasurer

Joyce Segarra is a certified public accountant with over 20 years of public accounting experience. At her current role as a manager at Clifton Larson Allen, she specializes on the audit and taxation of not-for-profit organizations. This role provides her with great fulfillment, and enables her to continue to get engaged, be passionate, and collaborative with a diverse group of nonprofit professionals. She directly leads, supervises, and performs attest and non-attest engagements and she helps clients identify ways to improve efficiencies in their financial accounting and reporting processes.  Previously, she served a variety of clients in industries such as real estate and development, construction, and employee benefit plans besides not-for-profits. In addition to serving on the AALEAD Board, she currently serves on the board of Gandhi Brigade Youth Media and as a member of the Finance Committee of Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing. Joyce was born and raised in the Philippines and holds an accounting degree from Bicol University.  Joyce loves spending quality time with family and friends and enjoys travelling and baking during her spare time.
