Karen Urcia-Board Secretary

Karen Urcia specializes in auditing, accounting and tax services to trade associations, public charities, scientific organizations, federal award recipients, schools, and other not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Urcia also works with closely held businesses and their owners. In addition to providing traditional accounting and tax services to clients, Ms. Urcia has developed substantial expertise in such areas as tax planning, financial reporting, financial projections and budgeting and can also assist clients with QuickBooks to better maintain business records. She provides services in Tax Exempt, Individual, Partnership, Corporation and S Corporation tax return preparations.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia.
