In Memoriam

I am a native Washingtonian, retired Family Physician, mother of three – a Sitar playing rock musician, a professional Hockey team COO, and an Historian – and adoptive mother of Tuan(Thomas) Trang, who back in 1994 introduced my late husband, Foreign Service Officer, Robert P. (Bob)Myers, to the community of recently arrived Vietnamese refugees living in Mt. Pleasant. This is the group for whom Sandy Dang founded AALEAD, which Bob and I supported from the start. I continue to enjoy being a part of this vibrant, ever changing community.
